Learn FacadePM

Getting started with FacadePM

Set up FacadePM through Account, verify the installer and learn with the fictional Harbour demonstration project.

  • 1. Enter Account
  • 2. Activate an eligible trial or choose a paid plan
  • 3. Check your entitlement
  • 4. Use the protected download flow
  • 5. Verify and install on Windows x64
  • 6. Link the desktop application if requested
  • Explore the fictional Harbour project
  • Before relying on your own programme

1. Enter Account

Choose Account or Start 30-day trial on the website and complete the existing sign-in process. Account creation does not activate a trial or grant installer access. Sign-in is the entry point for checking your account state, not a purchase or licence activation.

2. Activate an eligible trial or choose a paid plan

In Account, explicitly activate an eligible trial after reviewing its conditions. The 30-day trial includes all features and requires no payment card. It does not create a paid subscription. Alternatively, use Account billing to choose an applicable paid plan; registration alone does not grant a paid entitlement.

3. Check your entitlement

Confirm that the applicable trial or paid entitlement is active before attempting a protected action. Your plan, user role and applicable seat or organisation conditions govern access. If access is denied or unavailable, follow the Account message or contact support; do not try a local activation workaround.

4. Use the protected download flow

Open downloads in Account and complete the applicable release acknowledgement when required. Use the installer offered through that protected flow. There is no anonymous installer link on the public website. An active entitlement is a prerequisite; release availability and authorization are checked by the service.

5. Verify and install on Windows x64

Compare the filename, size, SHA-256 and digital-signature publisher with the recorded installer details on the download guidance page before opening the file. Follow the installer prompts on your Windows computer. Keep Windows security enabled. Stop and contact support if the file or publisher differs; do not bypass the warning.

6. Link the desktop application if requested

If FacadePM requires account linking, follow its existing one-time account-link workflow and the instructions in Account. Already-linked users follow their applicable sign-in path. Never share or reuse an account-link code; do not put it in a support request. If it expires or fails, follow the current workflow rather than retrying an old code.

Website Cloudflare Access identity and desktop Auth0 identity are separate mechanisms. Matching email addresses alone do not establish the required link. Website sign-in codes and desktop account-link codes serve different purposes; do not interchange them.

Explore the fictional Harbour project

Harbour is labelled fictional demonstration data, not a customer project or evidence of a completed contract. After installation and applicable account linking, an administrator can open Help and choose Create or open Sample Project. Creation requires explicit confirmation and adds labelled demonstration records; a repeat visit opens the existing sample.

Keep the demonstration separate from customer projects. Review the selected project name before editing, scheduling or opening a register. The sample includes an unapproved baseline for learning; it is not an approved customer programme. Available modules still depend on your plan and user role.

  1. Open the sample Dashboard and select Harbour as the project context.
  2. Inspect the WBS and the Building, Elevation and Zone hierarchy before adding work.
  3. Open Schedule Builder and inspect the sample activities, relationships and calendars.
  4. Run a schedule calculation and compare its results with the saved dates; calculation alone does not save new dates.
  5. Use the tutorials to review schedule progress, baselines and, where included in your plan, resources and commercial controls.

Before relying on your own programme

Start with a small, clearly identified project and check its calendar and data date. Make independent backups before important changes. Review saved activity values after reloading and use the controlled proposal/approval process for schedule changes. A demonstration exercise does not establish project-specific acceptance or financial assurance.
